On the northeast side of the Daio Wasabi farm are the water wheels that were built for the film Dreams (Yume), a film made by the famous director Kurosawa Akira. A small corner of the Wasabi Farm with nice rural atomsphere.

この場所が有名になったのは1990年に公開された黒沢明監督の映画「夢」でロケ地にされたことがきっかけとなり有名になりました。蓼川が流れる美しい水辺に3基の水車小屋は変わらずに現存していますが、決して映画のために作られたセットではないのです。
