Wow, what an amazing experience! Sara is the owner, manager, designer, and builder of this cozy little hostel in Nagasaki! Conveniently located on the streetcar line from Nagasaki station, hostel nedoko is just a short walk away from Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Museum. It has all the amenities a backpacker could ask for: large lockers, shower, curtained bunk beds, and most importantly a heated bidet toilet! The dorm room unlocks with a code, so you can come back late. Sara herself is very knowledgeable about Nagasaki and can suggest plenty of attractions to see, things to do, and places to eat. She pointed me toward some delicious Champon and an old world onsen. Did I mention that the lounge area has a TV and a blanketed heater table to keep your feet warm?! I had a wonderful experience here and I highly recommend that you do the same when you visit Nagasaki by staying at hostel nedoko!!

A great place to stay during travel in Nagasaki. You may ask anything to the owner about Nagasaki since she knows almost everything going on there. you may just open up to any conversation or confessions or maybe complaints to the owner and the owner will entertain you accordingly, The room might be a bit small but that help me to break the ice with another guest faster. Love the hospitality. Just to be ready to read the rules in the house to help everyone get a pleasant stay over there. Cheers.

The owner Sara is very helpful. Human size hostel, you’ll meet your roommates more easily than in a big hostel. Tramway (streetcar) station 3 min walk. Very clean - Lots of rules (one the strictest hostel/guesthouse i’ve ever been). Can’t have your luggage in the room and they can keep it after checkout only until 3pm (for a few hundred ). Very small with no space to hang out and no kitchen. Very limited food options nearby. Global value for money so-so.

Nice place to crash when all you need is just a bed for the night. Clean sheets, shower and towels, quiet neighborhood, next to Peace Park. Sara, the able, no nonsense and lovely owner, is always ready to help and make the stay as pleasant as possible for foreigners although with basic command of English. Not many places to eat nearby but the tram stop is close making it easy to enjoy the city. Recommend especially if you're traveling alone or on a budget. Credit card O.K.

Hostel full of charm, very comfortable (especially the beds nedoko). Sara the owner had a real sense of hospitality, when we arrived a tray with tea and cake waiting for us. She always has the right advice to facilitate our tough tourist life. In addition hostel very well placed for visiting Nagasaki.

Central but very small rooms with DIY-style and no service. The landlady is very grabby and argumentativ with a lot of rules for her guests. Very unfriedly . I have switched my accommodation 1 night earlier to another one. Dont do it and forget about it!!! My suggestion "casa nova"- hostel !!!

The Hostel owner did NOT esteem guest. Guest will be obstruction at working and rest. Force Guest to Stop working and turn off light at night. Not cleaning shower room , and very cold sleeping room.

Nedoko is a wonderful host and speak English well. Born and raised in Nagasaki, she knows the nooks and corners of the city. Reasonably priced and equipped with all basic amenities, I would recommend this hostel to any budget traveller wanting to experience the beauty of Nagasaki.
