Visited this place set on top of hill over looking Yokohama Harbour front . Foreigners always took over strategic hill top. This building is a typical colonial design as seen in colonial Malaya and Singapore . It is so British .

There are many houses you can visit. It is free of charge also. They maintain everything in a very good condition especially flowers on the dining table...so beautiful. So nice....
British House built in 1937 as the British consular residence. It was designed by the Shanghai branch of the British Office . Very beautiful around .

昭和12年イギリス総領事公邸として建設 現在は横浜市所有で1階はコンサートホール、2階の集会室は会議として貸し出しています 展示は2階のみ、無料で見学することができます。 寝室やリビングからは、庭が見ることができ素敵な建物です。
今日は、「岡崎倫典さん」のライブで来ました。 静かな落ち着いた雰囲気がマッチして、いい時間です。 イギリス館自身は、港の見える丘公園の隣？中？にある。
