Lot of birds. Very interesting experience. But feel bad for the owls. They should sleep during the day. Friendly staffs.

I did have fun, though I was pecked to the point of bleeding. Yes we were told to take jewellery off as they try to take it, but noone told us they pick at moles and freckles and such. Some birds looked a bit scabby and missing tails. I feel like the space wasn't big enough for the amount of birds and sorry for the owls tied up at the reception. Oh... And don't wear the colour green...they seemed to love it...

Lots of cute and playful birds! If you're a bird person, they know it and will fly right to you and play or nap on your shoulders. If you're not a bird person, they'll still try to land on you, as my friend found out. Owls were typically sleepy or preferred to ignore us. But they were very nice to look at! Also, a great onsen is right around the corner. Lots of narrow stairs to get to the basement where the room is located, but there might be an elevator for use.

Awesome place to feed a variety of birds that you have likely never seen before! Just a quick note that this is not an actual café but it is an amazing experience I highly suggest checking out that's not a 5min walk from the local temple!
