Tamon is a nice little cafe that is located opposite to a shrine. The interior is very minimal and the atmosphere is calm. The waiters at the cafe came quickly to take our orders, but unfortunately me and my partner’s pancakes were served almost 15 minutes apart. It would have been much better if they had told us that we would have to wait, so we could have asked to have them both served at the same time. I would not have minded waiting for that, so I would recommend the staff to warn customers ahead of time if there will be a difference in serving time. The Kanazawa Gold pancakes were really fluffy and delicious. No complains about the taste or presentation! They were SO filling, so you should definitely come on an empty stomach. If you go to this cafe on a holiday or weekend you will have to wait in line for a long time, so that’s something to keep in mind!

I’ve had fluffy pancakes before but let me tell you!!! THIS!!! This is the best I have had. So light and fluffy. My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict and he said they were amazing. I highly recommend!!
I do a Uber eats, and got many orders from here. Every time I came to pick up the orders, it makes me want to try. It is my first time for the soft pancakes like this. おいしかった。 Not too sweet (the girls like it), for someone love sweet maybe you need to add more toppings . P.S. come early, you need to wait about 30mins
I have been wanting to try Japanese style fluffy pancakes for such a long time now. Finally I came to Japan and this was the first pancake place I tried. The truth is, my expectations were high... I had been anticipating this for so very long, I was afraid that my expectations would be so high that it would be impossible to meet them. However, I was so happy with my pancakes! They were everything that I had dreamed of and more! They were so fluffy! And they came with blueberries, honey, cream and butter! Not too much either, just the right amount. They tasted wonderful too. I believe I remember they had an English menu however I do speak a tiny bit of Japanese so that always helps. The staff also spoke a few words of English. In the end communication was very easy and the staff were very friendly!
Delicious fluffy Japanese pancakes. I would definitely recommend. Further, the service was really nice.
