The ones who work here are amazing people. In the time i volunteered with them, i realized just how much they do for the dogs. I hope that all of these dogs find a loving home in the future.
Great place and committed people trying to help out dogs and cats. If you are looking to add a dog or cat to your family this is the place to go.
I thought my GPS had gotten me lost before I arrived, but Google maps was able to get there correctly. The animals are overcrowded for sure, but as a non kill animal shelter I don't think there is anyway around it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great animal. The staff are actually genuine and want to see the animals go to a forever home.
100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE AT ALL! i feel like crying from what i just witnessed with this animal shelter. most dogs looked malnourished and had matted and thinning coats. ALL dogs had super puffy red eyes, and were shaking like they were terrified. one had DARK yellow pee in their bowl and it hadnt been cleaned out and another had a cone on his head. water/pee all over the floor. not a clean environment AT ALL. dogs looked very upset and the whole environment just felt heavy and depressing.
The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The dogs seems well cared for and some receive training. We will adopt our new dog from here!
