The actual icicles are beautiful but it's a bit of an ordeal to get there, and there's not much around. So you pretty much go there, look and leave. It was a strange day: almost 7 hours of transports back and forth from Meguro for an hour there...
The icicles are so beautiful. As the bus here is not frequent during the winter and the last bus depart to station is like before 4pm from here. And it is quite far away from the station. would suggest enjoy the illumination, stay nearby and go to mitsumine shrine in early morning the next day
