Beautiful church in the middle of the city! Quiet oasis. Perfect place if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Feel free to come in if only to admire beautiful ceiling in a shape of a flower (lotus perhaps). I’m glad I’ve stumbled upon it.

From the outside, St. Ignatius Church is not the typical looking church. In fact, we were also quite surprised that this is a church. Wasn't able to take photos inside because there is an on-going mass but this is a must visit church. Very solemn and the ceiling design is quite breathtaking. This church is part of the Sophia University campus and has mass in english, too.

This is my favourite church to come to whenever I'm in Tokyo. Why? Because with 3 masses daily, the choices are superb. Only one drawback albeit minor as there's only one English mass per week and that is at 12 noon each Sunday. Nevertheless following the mass is easy as the rites performed are precisely similar amongst catholic churches throughout the world. For practicing catholics and those receiving communion, the host leaves a heavenly feeling on your tongue as you eat it. May the love of God remain in your heart forever.

My second home, eventough i cant speak japanese, the mass, eucarist is still the same in all country, unite. The church of st ignatius is very warm and beautiful, you can see my pictures its near the sophie university. The people come to Jesus to be blessed and get ready to evangelize others and inspire others.. #mattheusr

So great to have the sacraments in English so far from home. The main area is huge but the little chapel is quiet and perfect for peaceful adoration
