Like the tea.

Good tea place to sit and relax. Tea could be better and price lesser.

I’m a long-time customer of their tea and go to their Taipei store every time I visit Taiwan. I was super excited to learn that they opened up a store in Shinjuku, downstairs at the Lumine. Having moved to Tokyo recently, I instantly became a regular here. The tea they serve at the Shinjuku location is pretty much spot-on and tastes almost identical to the Taipei location. One day, on a particularly hot and humid Friday night, I had an irresistible craving for their iced tapioca milk tea, but it was somewhat late (9:00 PM) so I called in just to be sure they were open. They told me they would be open as long as I arrived before their last order cutoff, which is 9:45PM. Excited (and thirsty), I rushed over from Higashi-Shinjuku and managed to make it at 9:30, only to be turned down rudely by a particularly rude staff member by the name of “MOCHIZUKI” (望月、or もちづき in Japanese), telling me that last order was already over and they wouldn’t be able to serve me. What was the point of me calling and working up a sweat to get there then? It’s so unfortunate, as I was super looking forward to having some tasty tea. SHAME ON YOU, MS. MOCHIZUKI; YOU SHOULD REALLY LEARN SOME MANNERS. I’m appalled they would even allow her to speak to customers, let alone, taint the store image with her negativity and know-it-all demeanor. I will not be returning to this location; will go to the Harajuku-Aiyana location from now on. Thank you for ruining it for me, MOCHIZUKI, I sincerely hope you learn some basic manners.

Very delicious perl milk tea. A very famous and popular brand in Taiwan.

Quality is slightly worse than that of the original in Taiwan, but it's halve the serving for the same price
