Best fish and chips in Tokyo. Recently opened in March 2020, this place is worth coming to Shibuya, even if for nothing else but the fish and chips. The owner lived in London and so the fish and chips are authentic! The restaurant looks more like a bar with snacks but they actually have FULL meals that are fantastic. I must have walked passed this place over 4-5 dozen times and never went in thinking they didn't serve meals. The fish and chips is the best I've had in Tokyo - even better than some places in London. The fish is cod, battered with the skin on, and the correct proportion of batter to fish. Thickness is bang on. And the chips ate real chips, NOT shoestring fries! My only nit is that the tartar sauce is Japanese style. Separately, the pulled pork sandwich is to die for. I asked the chef how he got the smoky flavor and he told me it was a secret. I can't tell if he uses liquid smoke or a smoker, but the profile is well balanced. I'm hooked.

Only had a chance to sample of ciders but both were good (a Devon cider that took me back to my roots) and a local Japanese cider that was quite novel. A great selection yet to go for. Also the menu had a good selection of posh pub grub definitely worth giving a go. Staff also friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent fish and chips, English style. The tartar sauce is weird, but \u200d️ I never use it anyway. Use the malt vinegar in the squeezy bottle instead Wide range of ciders and a few craft beers - haven’t tried many but the ones I did were good.

Went to check it out for the cider and was not disappointed - great cider (and a few beers) and very friendly staff. My limited Japanese was zero obstacle as it seemed everyone was very conversant in English. Cool spot over all and drinks and vibe were good enough that we will be back to try the food (which looked very appetizing). Met owner and he was very friendly. Worth checking out - especially if you are a cider fan - as taps were well organized and described. Not cheap but quality is there - will happily visit again!

Lovely spot! I had a few drinks last weekend and was fortunate enough to have met and spoken with the owner - a charming man! I came with a friend and she certainly enjoyed herself as well. A pleasant time all around. Go have a drink at Cidernaut, folks. It's mighty hot outside.

Wide and tasty selection of ciders from all over the world. Wonderful host, kind staff. Very nice atmosphere.

Nice ambiance with both open air and interior seating. Newly opened 2020 with 7 ciders and 2 beer taps currently. Simple bar-type food selections available with English menu (see photo). I haven’t tried cider yet but beer is great ! Recommended.

Cozy place in a quiet area of Shibuya, apparently mostly visited by local people living around there. Very friendly staff who will help you choose the right cider to fit your mood. The food menu looks delicious! Will definitely try something next time.
