The coffee here is excellent for those who enjoy proper espresso based coffees. Dropped by this shop just after lunch, as it only opens at 1pm. There’s a small area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee which is made using a small espresso machine, rather than drip filter which is more common in Japan. This isn’t Starbucks type coffee. For the Aussies, it is like coffee from home.

For a latte lover, I can promise their latte is tasty. The 味of coffee is good. Wanna come back again soon!

Very nice espresso style coffee. They are able to make a variety of coffee styles, altering coffee, water and milk proportions. This was a welcome treat as it departs from the more standard black or overly milky and sweet coffees that are standard in Japan. This cafe greatly reminded me of an Australian/Melbourne style cafe. The home made ginger ale was also delicious. Definitely worth a visit for a great coffee and to sit on the balcony enjoying the sun.

Great guy, studied in the US so his english is perfect. We talked about life, job, relationship stuffs, almost everything. The coffee’s great too, best caramel latte and matcha latte in Beppu. Went here at least 2-3 times a week.

Aussies head here for great green smoothies and lattes. The owner has been a barista in Melbourne.

Unique. Aesthetically right. So Japanese. English friendly which is rare in this town.
