Good Costco! It loses a star for not having the gas station! Also, parking on weekends is literally crazy. Best time is weekday before 11:30 or after 2. I’ve been a little annoyed though because popular things go out of stock a lot... tortilla chips... but otherwise nice. For corona the seating was removed for the restaurant... but all the god is the same

I went on a Friday afternoon and it was packed! There was a line of cars just to get into the parking structure. I thought it was way too small for the volume they serve. Inside it was also very crowded. When it came time to check out there was a line of shopping carts that extending all the way down to the food section! Crazy! I still gave it three stars because they had some items that were sold out at the Amagasaki branch.
This is a review about misleading advertising on the Costco Optical Japan website. The advertised pricing for lenses is way off, and be prepared to pay more than 6000 yen even for the basic Kirkwood lenses. For two very basic pairs of glasses I paid more than 25000 yen. Oh, and that promise of the glasses being ready in 30 minutes? Haha, closer to 30 HOURS! I suggest supporting your neighborhood optical store.
Costco in Kyoto. No much difference from the other country. It's very crowded in weekend and around 1-3pm after lunch in weekdays. There is big DIY store next to costco and many small stores near by. I recommend going to Super Sento ’’Suishun''(水春) 1 min to drive after shopping.
Love Costco in Japan, but the hamburger in the food stand is the most expensive (except for a whole pizza) and least tasty item on the menu. The beef and sauce seemed to lack any seasoning, and the bun was toasted in away that almost perfectly replicated the texture of stale bread. Best to order pretty much anything else.
