The host is very welcoming. We went there by bus from Tokyo and he fetched us at Kawaguchiko station. Cottage Pastorale is a double storey house with 3 rooms that fix the 10 of us perfectly. The most amazing is the cottage is 2 minutes walking from the lake and we can see the magnificent Fuji after our Subuh prayer. SubhanaAllah.

This place was amazing! The house was nice, sparkling clean, with amenities and facilities well provided and well functioning. The owner was very nice. The location was great, with the view of Mt. Fuji from the living room window and 2 of the 3 bed rooms. The house is very close to Lake Kawaguchi (Kawaguchiko), only 1 - 2 minute walk. We stayed during winter. The kids played with snow in front of the house near the patio. BTW, the patio was very nice, and they put some nice little lights on the patio that lit it beautifully in the evening. We had a very nice time there. Everybody loves the place! :)

one of the best place to stay apart from home! i'm giving 6 stars out of 5. staffs are very polite and helpful. free shuttle service is available from kawaguchiko station by the owner. The room or actually a house is very roomy and fully functional for your stay. 2 bedrooms in second floor with japanese futons (which may be to narrow) and mount fuji is right behind your windows! first floor is living area containing large dining tables, TV, heater/air-conditioner, fridge with separated freezer, microwave oven and gas stove. pots, pans, plates and small bowls are more than enough. next to the kitchen is your own backyard with another table and garden chair to relax outdoor. the place is very clean and tidy.

Been here twice and everything about this cottage is positive. Friendly host, clean place, well equipped kitchen and a personal outdoor bench. They have bicycles free for use. Complimentary transfer from Kawaguchiko Station and less than 5 min walk to the lake. Also, they thoroughly clean the place before the next guest arrives. I highly recommend this cottage.
