Definitely not the busiest place on Saturday night, but the upside was we were just looking for a quite spot for beer anyhow. The owner seemed quiet at first, but my girlfriend and I ended up having nice conversation with him, mostly with our broken Japanese and him using the English that he knows (plus our translation apps). He was kind to us and gave us good tips for our sightseeing plans the next day, as well as tips for craft beer in Japan. It's not an easy place to find unless you are looking, but it's also what makes it unique and rare. Hoping that through this review we can make Ghent more well-known! We both really liked the beer we had. He had a few American IPA's and some good brews local to Japan. We will totally come back again!

Nice little place. Rudest bartender I ever had in Japan. Nobody there on a Saturday night. Tells you I’m not only person thinks this guy is a ahole. Spent 3900 on 2 beers! That says enough. Maybe worst money ever spent in Japan
I had a disappointing time here. Came down to this basement pub around 8PM on a Friday night and it was completely empty. Had one half pint for 1000 yen (pricey for a small size even by Japanese craft standards), and then was charged a 500 yen table charge when leaving. All total, I paid 1500 yen to drink a half pint of beer in a completely empty pub on a Friday night. I had a much better experience at every other craft pub I visited in Nagoya. I'm giving an extra star for the bartender, who provided me very good service for the short time I was there.
The price 1.7 times from the price board for the foreigners, narrow place underground with no wifi and mobile signal.Beer is so so.If you follow Tripadviser or somtin for the good craft beer, go another place.
This place is not very up front about there cover charge.
