One of the antique western style mansion complex in this area. Relatively small and little to see...there's a cafe using a part of it, no admission for cafe.

We didnt spend a lot of time here, and we were attracted by the gardens more than the Museum itself! Small as it is, the gardens were a miniaturised version of the typical Japanese garden, where views unfold as u wander along!

一見普通の家みたいですが、昭和初期の陶磁器商の邸宅跡です。ここも洋館と和館がくっついた建物です！入らなかったですが、良さげなカフェスペースがありました。 東区は瀬戸や多治見からの陶磁器の集積地だったことをここで初めて知りました。へえ〜です。

名古屋市内の古くからの高級住宅街・白壁にあり、かつての陶磁器商の豊かな生活をうかがわせる邸宅。邸内を見学できるほか、カフェも併設されている。カフェ利用だけの場合は入館料は不要。

外壁リニューアル(2021年)。 レトロ建築。陶磁器商の旧邸宅。大正末から昭和初期の趣を楽しめる。 館の扉は「来客を迎え入れる」向こう開き。扉の手前、天井を見上げると、星形のステンドグラス。柱や床など、さりげなく凝っている。 中にはいっても細部に渡り楽しめる。 洋館はステンドグラスやタイル、調度品。和館はゆらぎのある窓ガラス、横開きの雪見障子、襖や棚の取っ手、欄干、格子。 庭では四季折々の草花を楽しめる。茶室、裏庭、東西二棟の蔵。 和室での展示やイベントも、入館料大人200円で楽しめる。共通券「文化のみち二葉館」も人気。年間パス800円。ぶんかのみち催事による値引き時あり。 カフェ&ショップのみ利用は、入館料なしで入れる。館に入って左手。文化のみちでとれたハチミツスイーツやセレクトアイテムなども楽しめる。
