Stayed here for 2 nights before my sister and I left for Osaka. I forgot to advise them that we were going to arrive late, so we had to stay the first night at another hotel. The problem is, the actual guesthouse is away from the reception area. The reception area is the small yellow building (shown in the photos) while the actual guesthouse is about 5-10 mins away, by foot. No one really mans the guesthouse, so if you need something, you’ll have to do it on your own or ask around. Also, there’s only one bathroom to be shared by guests from 3 or 4 rooms so imagine how difficult it is especially in the morning. Anyway, it was one of the cheapest accommodations that I could find so there’s that.
Don't stay here, a bit more money is worth the amount of inconvenience and discomfort you will feel if you stay at this hostel. There is absolutely nothing good about this place, I stayed for 2 nights. There are no walls, they lock you out of the building at 10pm, the place you stay isnt even at the location on all of the booking websites (it is opposite Denny's on the main street in a tiny little door beside the property agents) the beds are horribly loud and squeaky, the single bathroom is extremely tiny, the shower is broken, you can lock the doors from an inside latch which means no one else can get in to the room if one person decides to lock it, the list goes on. I regret coming here and would very happily have spent more money to not stay in a place like this.
It's run in a small modern japanese style house and there are only two rooms. If you are a proper backpacker, you should not mind staying in this hostel as its located in a great area. Very close to the Senso-ji temple area and all the markets are nearby. Also the hostel in itself is small (specially the narrow staircase). So think twice if u have large suitcases. Other than that, the hostel is very clean and comfortable. The lady who runs this hostel is amazing. She helps you in pretty much everything if she is around. She also speaks good English compared to the other people in Japan. Thanks for all the help :)
Very friendly hosts. Willing to help with anything and everything. The location is also prime for checking out tourist destinations in Taito (such as Senso-ji and the Skytree).
Filty and smelly (Rubbish inside the room)!!! Not accordingly to the pictures descriptions. How did they get the licence to operate in Tokyo?
Not good
Dont trust that their last hour for check in is 10pm. My first and last experience was a disaster. Went here 2 weeks ago.
