Amazing Edo museum with very detailed illustrations. You can feel how people lived in that era. Daily life, occupations and education are illustrated on model cities. Admission is free on New Years holiday days. English audio guide is available.

Toddler enjoyed it. Museum will take about 2-3 hours.. children will enjoy some of the exhibits especially the rickshaws. Lot of precautions being taken during corona. The cafe was serving egyptian food.

The current egypt exhibition is really good. The permanent exhibition could use a little more English translations though.

Great museum for all ages! My wife and I went for an afternoon to escape the Tokyo heat and spent about 2.5 hours here. Tickets were 600 Yen each for the main exhibit. You can drop your bags on 1F or 7F (7F also has restaurant and library, 1F has cafes as well). The miniatures really show detail and such a small scale over a large area. You travel through the past couple hundred years of Tokyo in a very engaging way.
