My daughter studies at the Global Indian International School in Tokyo. I can confidently say the school is academically very strong. It is excellent for kids who are into academics and parents who don't mind their kids getting a considerable amount of homework. I am pleasantly surprised by how her math and writing skills progressed in such a short time.

Global Indian International School provides the right mix of academics, extracurriculars, sports, and other children's activities. The facilities provided are genuinely top-notch, and children get the space to try many things. On the other hand, the school environment is extremely safe and secure. There are security guards, the staff is scanned well before hiring, and a CCTV camera at every corner. I am at peace, sending both my kids to GIIS.

During the lockdown, we were worried about how our daughter will pursue her primary school learning. Students in higher grades can look for lecture notes and study independently, but this would have been difficult to achieve for a young learner. GIIS quickly adapted to the virtual learning model and helped our daughter feel comfortable with it. She talked to her friends, participated in virtual activities, and studied rigorously.

Have heard mixed responses about the giis schools chain. Had a look at their website and met a few parents online. They seem to have really good stuff lined up so..... looking ahead for more updates regarding the admissions.

Looking for a good school in Tokyo is easy. Be it a good primary school, secondary school, or high school - Tokyo has many fantastic opportunities for students. But if you’re looking for a CBSE school in Tokyo - GIIS is the perfect school for your child. Our family moved to Japan some two years ago. Having every intention to move back to India, the GIIS proved to be the ideal solution. The education framework is brilliant. The infrastructure is amazing. And my children get to interact with and learn alongside foreign nationals!

With the pandemic hitting us out of the blue, I was worried about my son’s education. But then, GIIS, Tokyo gave us the option to continue getting our child to attend school via the internet. Online classes allowed our child to continue studying without suffering from an untimely, unanticipated break.

Being blessed with two children can be expensive in a first-world city like Tokyo when you are the only working parent. So my wife and I started looking for good private schools with scholarship programs for senior high school students. The Global Indian International School (GIIS) proved to be an excellent choice for us as we could avail of the Sadako Ogata Merit cum Means Scholarship. Thanks to this Scholarship, our children got a 25% off on tuition fees - which helped ease the financial burden of higher education for us!

If you want your kid to learn about the world, have global experience and explore a wholesome approach to schooling without compromising on academics, then the Global Indian International School in Tokyo is the school for you. My husband and I are incredibly impressed with the progress our two boys have made. One has also started painting, thanks to their art classes.
