Hi Person

Maybe because of Covid 19 but there wasn't much there. It was nice though. It has a little shop and a cafe.

I was drawn here due to the fact I'm British and lived a mere two hours away - it presented quite the novelty after living in Japan for a while. There isn't much to the building itself, with the bottom floor almost empty (although if I recall there is a little bit of info on the history of the place). The top floor acts as a tea room/restaurant offering \British food.\ I only ate there once, choosing the fish & chips and it was actually pretty good.

Kinda Gimmicky. Do not expect anything fancy. Just a chance to see old history.

felt I am back in the past. Shimonoseki was prosperous city in the past. Therefore it has many traces of the prosperity. This is one of the evidence.
