A really fantastic hike! Riding 2 buses from Chichibu station to get out there was a little tiring. A potential alternative would be renting a car. Most sections of the climb up are quite steep with few resting places. Boots are recommend as there’s a lot of loose dirt and rocks that are easy to slip on. There are 2 peaks to visit on this hike. If you have time, it’s worth seeing both. On the way up to the peaks. There are a couple of sections which require holding a chain while stepping over a sheer drop but I didn’t hear of anyone having trouble. The reward at the summit is definitely worthwhile! 坂本登山口から登りました。 R299号から林道へ曲がるとすぐの場所にある分かりやすい登山口です。 登山届用紙などは置かれていませんが、代わりに埼玉県警の登山届提出サイトへのQRコードが描かれた紙が掲示してあり、スマホから簡単に申請ができるようになっています。また、カウンターで入山者数を記録できるようになっています。また入口の近くにトイレが設置され、登山前の用足しもできる親切仕様です。ただし、トイレ自体は比較的新しく綺麗ですが、バイオトイレのため臭いがなかなか強烈です。 登山道を入ると沢伝いに股峠までの登りが続きます。何度か沢を渡るので初めてだと道が分かりにくいです。踏み跡をよく見ながら進みましょう。 そこそこ急登な斜面が続くので、自家用車で来て体力を温存したい方は車道をずっと走っていくと股峠直下の登山口まで行けるらしいので、そちらから登るといいと思います。
フリークライミングに最高です。 駐車場が近くお気軽に入山できますが、登山者によって毎年多くの死亡事故が起きています。
言わずと知れた!!秩父のクレイジーマウンテン。 低山ですが、高度感もありスリル満点です。 クライミングゲレンデも多数あり、土日は混み混みです。
登山口には手動のカウンター(登山者の人数を数えるもの)があります。 二子山は岩場が多く楽しめました。 岩場では手掛かり・足掛かりが多くて登りやすいです。
路上駐車が多かった。早めに取り付くのがよい。
岩場が好きな人が気軽に登るには良いかな
