Small stand bar style. Very cheap during the happy hour time. Food here with drinks is a good match. You can start drinking in this place before going to dinner in other places. I recommend to try highball.

Usually super crowded so not advisable to wait unless you know for sure that you will get a table indoor. Prices are reasonable for high ball and squid balls so definitely a decent stop over before heading to somewhere else for round X

Fantastic place for takoyaki. I love the type with crispy shells, and this is the one! They have some octopus in each of the ball and the balls got a considerable amount of vegetables in them. I ordered the one with tamago(egg salad) and teriyaki sauce - the amount of tamago and sauce were plenty and I loved it! The shop is popular amount locals as many of them would come in small groups and have a beer with the takoyaki. Recommended for take-away.

These octopus balls are amazing! Crispy on the outside and soft in. Packed with flavor. Can't go wrong for a delicious quick snack on the go! Had it twice on this vacation and I'd have it every day!

"Gindako" is most famous chain takoyaki shop in japan. I could enjoy various takoyaki and drinks in this shop,And deep fried chicken is also tasty. If you come to Japan, you should eat takoyaki.

Stopped here with a friend yesterday for a takoyaki snack. I had it topped with spicy shrimp and washed it down with a highball. The restaurant itself is setup for standing only, but they also have a takeout window. Two takoyakis (8-count) and two highballs came out to about 1,700. Be advised the restaurant is cash only.

We ordered the takoyaki (octopus balls) with egg and teriyaki sauce. The balls were crispy on the outside, while moist and warm inside - perfect for the December weather in Tokyo. The standing tables on the onside were nice as well - gets greasy and smokey on the inside.
