We had been to Chiba for a trip and stayed here overnight. The host was very kind and nice. The guest house is well built and has all the required amenities. The place is well maintained. BBQ option is available and cycles are available for rent. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Great place, great owner, great guests :D Good for solo traveling :D (for ladies too, it's safe ;) ) The place is cheap and is small but you can have everything you need in it. The guest house is just less than 10 minutes walk away from Torami station and less than 10 minutes too by bicycle away from the beach. The nearby beach is more for surfing. But if you want to have a nice swim and sun bathing, the beach in Onjuku is just a 20 minute train ride away from Torami. I'd love to keep coming back here to unwind from the busy life in the city.
The owner is awesome. Smiles a lot and very thoughtful. I came out here to surf, he gave me great recommendations. A typhoon actually came through and stopped all the trains. I had no way to get to the airport and was about to miss my flight but out of no where he offered to give me a ride. It's about a hour away by car, one way! He only asked that I pay for gas. The best service I've ever received, hands down. I'll definitely be coming back.
Great place for a surfing trip. Bike and surfboard rental is available as well. Nice showers and rooms with A/C. Kitchen and fridge to store and cook your own food.
Very friendly japanese owner. Its literally 10 minutes walk or 1km to the beach. I walked there for breakfast and lunch. So hostel is a surfers hostel as it is a very good surf beach. Beds are solid wood with wood on half the side then a curtain to get in and out, best beds design ive ever stayed in, mattress was very comfortable. Kitchen has a microwave, free tea/coffee, two gas burners for cooking, pots, pans and utensils. 2 toilets which are usual electronic japanese, 2 showers which have a change room part in it which is good. Hostel is always very clean. Although its a surfers hostel, i don't surf, i stayed there to take my laptop down to the beach and do some computer work. So its great for everyone wanting to relax, there is a concrete pier to sit there and watch surfers surfing.

オーナーがめちゃくちゃいい人で、建物も綺麗。 サーフィンに関することが全て揃っている。 スクールにも手配してくれるし、ボードもウエットもレンタル出来る。 BBQも出来て近くに魚屋さんがあるので、美味しいものが食べれます。 テレワークにもオススメです。
素晴らしい ですが、サーファーでなければ十分ではないかもしれません
