We had a fantastic time at the Hakuba Iwatake apartments. Daniel was the perfect host from the booking stage through the duration of the stay. The apartments are perfectly located to go skiing, especially with kids as there is no need to pack anybody into a bus or a car every day! The apartment was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable! And from the window you can see how long the queues are for the lift! The only slight inconvenience is that there are no restaurants or convenience stores in the direct vicinity but that issue is generally solved when the pub downstairs is open for service!

Our group had a fantastic stay at Hakuba Iwatake Apartment on our recent trip. It was very clean and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. We cooked all of our meals at the apartment and we had everything we needed. The location is amazing as it directly leads to the Iwatake Ski Resort. We loved the view of the resort from our apartment. We are looking forward to coming back!
We're a family of 4 with 2 small kids and stayed for 4 days and both the apartment and resort were perfect. The location couldn't be any better. 5 minute walk from the gondola. The kids loved playing right outside with the sledge provided. Daniel is a wonderful host, super helpful and responsive. Can highly recommend!
A great 2-bdrm apartment on the second floor of the same building as the Hakuba Brew Pub (which was closed during our visit due to COVID). Quiet, clean and warm, the apartment has some of the most comfortable beds we've had in the 2 years we've lived in Japan. Daniel, the owner, was responsive for any questions we had and the location was great right next to the ski hill. Easy for kids to play outside in the snow as well, complete with sleds to borrow outside. We had our own car, which made it easier to get to grocery stores, etc. Washer and dryer in the ground floor drying room was very convenient as well. Highly recommended!
Lots of snow! Really great time to go up and enjoy some winter sports and stay in the fantastic Hakuba Iwatake apartments. Highly recommended, especially if you have young kids. We were able to go straight out the front and enjoy lots of sledding and with the lifts being so close, we could grab a few runs whenever we liked Will be back again this season.
My time at the Hakuba Iwatake Apartments was perfect! Daniel was a perfect host from long before our arrival in Hakuba and helped me with all my questions and needs during our stay. The apartment is super clean and nice and had all the appliances we needed, not to mention it was right in front of the gondola for the ski field. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
Our family had a lovely stay here. The location is amazing being ski in ski out of the resort. Our kids had so much fun sleding from the front door. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. Daniel is a great host.
This is our second time in Daniel's place, as always our experience was fantastic!! - Easy check in and out - The room is perfectly clean and set up - Location cannot be better to ski with the kids, it is just 50m to the slope so if the kids are tired you just need to come back to the apartment. - Atmosphere with other guests and Daniel is great, our kids were playing for hours put with the other kids - On Friday Daniel organized a pizza night and almost 30 people gather and had a lot of fun We will be back soon Thanks a lot
