Hanazono park is a great place for a family day. There's a kids play area as well as a dog run for both large and small dogs. A large playing field for children and adults alike to enjoy. In the spring you can find Sakura and plum blossoms. Of course there's also the newly built rugby stadium. There's a separate outdoor rugby field and a baseball diamond. Hanazono park has everything for a fun family outing anytime of year.

Visited for rugby worl cup game. 20 minute walk from station. As an outdoor stadium, it was hot. Locals had towels on heads or hats to keep themselves cool. I liked the stadium though

An average park, but not bad considering this was unused boglands made into drainage ponds.They nicely transformed them into recreational areas. There is a planetarium with toilets accessible to the public. Worth popping by before the rugby.
