The building itself looks like being made of jewels. Definitely one of iconic buildings in Ginza. If the new Sony building is built at the Sony park in front of it after Olympic, you might not be able to see it as it is. (Nov. 2020)

Personally I simply think this building is quite an iconic landmark on the area, that architectural design just stands out from all other luxurious brands. As a man, I don’t see why there are so many floors and I am not sure there really is that much stuff to be sold there. I just think this is a nice addition to the city’s architecture.

Not happy with the SA. If you are a foreigner, they will be very racist and will pack up all of your purchases extremely fast and push you out to stop you from asking them for a birkin/kelly/constance.

Housed in a beautiful ice cube building, the Tokyo Hermes Maison is an icon in Ginza. You can check out the latest fashion and leather offerings from the House of Hermes, with each floor specialising in different wares. First floor is about scarves and leather jewelry (do check out the occasional Japan or even Ginza specific scarf designs); second floor has a great time pieces and precious jewelry collection; 3rd floor homeware (check out the cafe at the corner, it serves drinks and food using hermes cutlery and dishware); 4th floor leather goods & diaries (if you are lucky, perhaps you can maybe spot a legendary kelly or birkin on display). The building hosts art exhibits from time to time as well. The Hermes assistants are also elegant and knowledgeable, so it's a nice place to understand more about the Hermes brand and culture.
