They have a nice space for kids, but they don't have the children's English books in it. They are in a dingy corner with the other foreign language books away from the child-centric area. They only have a very small selection of English books in comparison to other nearby city's libraries. The underground parking is narrow. They do have an outdoor car park, which is better for anything other than a k car. They have toilets, nappy changing facilities, drink vending machines, a nursing area, drinking fountain and a buggy and wheelchair you can borrow.

満足しています。 Web予約受け取り 非常に便利です。 政治-社会 関係の蔵書も 偏向しておらず良い 良識ある司書がおられるのかも⁉️

3階には読書室がありますが、混んでいても静かなことには驚きました。むしろ静かすぎて圧迫感があり、あまり長居はできませんでした。圧迫感というと駐車場も狭く、立体駐車場の出入り口で詰まりやすい印象を受けました。 初めて本を借りた際の段取りには不満を感じたものの、総合的に考えれば安定しているといえます。

二階資料室で郷土史と埼玉の治水について調べるために行きましたが、カードを持つ市民以外は自習席やパソコンが使える席はかりられませんでした。ちなみに雨漏りしていてパソコン使用席のうち２席は使用禁止でした。 市民以外が使える資料閲覧席は６席だけで、そのうち３席は居眠りのおじいさん... 郷土史の資料そのものはよく揃っていて、近隣自治体の図書館にはなかった資料があり、調べに来た甲斐がありましたが、だからこそ、市民ではなくても使える席は必要だと思いました。
