Great little spot! The owner will make you feel right at home. Very welcoming to tourists. My wife had her Japanese change in a plastic bag and he gave her a cute cloth pouch - such a nice gesture!
We had an absolutely fantastic meal! Great tempura, and the donburi I had still makes me hungry when I think about it. It was great to have a beer and chat with the owners, and putting our names on the world map was exciting! I proudly wear my 麺道楽大 T-shirt often at home! I hope I can go back soon.
Light and fresh tasting Udon, very good quality, but slightly pricey. We ordered the Oyakodon, Nabeyaki Udon (claypot Udon, not in English menu), chicken strip Udon, and beef curry Udon. The Oyakodon and beef curry Udon were very tasty, nabeyaki Udon was very flavorful, chicken strip udon had a clear and light broth. Shop owner was extremely friendly and charismatic who gave us complimentary matcha ice cream and mochi! :)
