This rest area offers the usual conveniences (restrooms, restaurants, etc.). There is a beautiful lake behind the builiding, where many families picnic. There are also places to grill. Inside, there is also tourist information available in English. There is also a grocery store that carries many of Ibaraki's specialty foods.

Actually didn't know this place existed. Stopped by here one time and it was closed, then stopped today and was amazed. Nice little river at the back with a bunch of food courts inside if you get hungry. Nice chill spot for the family and friends
