another staple of my life growing up, itss always good to get to visit another HMV store. this one is multi levels, and looks very well stocked. staff here were very friendly too.

Good book, movie and music location. They take up the entire 5th-7th floors of the corner MODI department store. 5th floor is mostly new releases in dvd/blu-ray along with books. 6th floor is also books (including children's books, which aren't on the 5th floor),and a large collection of older movies, 7th floor is mostly music with some movies as well. Their selection rivals their nearby neighbors Tower Records and Kinokuniya in both the books and music/movies area.

They have a various selection of books to choose from. Some examples are manga, light novels, books on cooking/business and even music DVDs. Definitely a place worth visiting if you are a book and/or music lover. However, the drawback is that majority of the books are in Japanese.

Kinda disappointed as the space for manga was small, I was expecting a whole floor of manga since the store has so many floors. But still, I love this hmv.
