They've renovated since I visited last February 2018. They paved the way ways and redid the porch so it's nice and open with viewing benches. The inside is a continuous enclosed space with big windows to look outside. The most exciting thing is they added an ashiyu leg/foot bath! I'm sure it would be heaven to eat ice cream and soak your feet.

Tasty soft-cream and hamburger. The view of mountains is perfect. Good to visit in autumn.
Beautiful place to look at Mt Fuji while enjoying some of the best ice cream in the area.
Little foot bath there, my feet loved it. Dont forget a little towel.
Best soft cream ever! Though I'm biased because I grew up eating it. They recently redid the hut and though it looks nice, the crowds in July are insane.
