Such a beautiful home and clean facilities. The landlady was warm and welcoming, and fixed excellent meals. She offers breakfast and dinner, and can prepare vegetarian options if you let her know in advance. She uses google translate if you need, and is not timid of non-Japanese speakers :) There's free coffee and tea, free wifi, and a bus stop 1 min. away. You'll have your own private room with thick futons to sleep on, and the showers & bathrooms are shared but cleaned regularly. The starry sky is so clear just outside the house too They've also installed air conditioners in the bedrooms, 100yen/hour to use. There's also a fan and door to outside with a screen. I had a really bad sunburn, and the landlady immediately helped me. She gave me towels and a bucket of ice water to soak them in for the sunburns and extra pillows for elevation. Such a life saver! She also had aloe vera you can buy.

A very lovely and homely place. The owners are super nice, the futons comfortable, and there are a few beaches and viewpoints within walking distance.

Amazing real local home stay. Simple place, real Japanese local house. The house is old but cozy. She is sweet and super friendly. We speak Japanese so we had nice conversations with her. Her food is incredible! Her son speaks English really well if you need any help. She had recommendations and rental equipment for snorkel as well. Thank you so much! It was really nice to meet you.

Simple homestay with great hospitality! Tasty local kitchen from the host's mother. Host speaks excellent English and thanks to Google Translate conversation with his mother was no issue -- what a nice gift of modern technology. Travelled as a couple and stayed 3 nights in December 2019.

It’s the third time we stayed here, the house is kind of old but the host is incredibly nice ! She can provide breakfast and dinner (700yens for breakfast and 1300yens for dinner) and will go out of her way to help you (she called some places to ask questions for us, brought us by car to the port because it was raining, went to check where to find sea firefly etc)

We had a wonderful stay with Takako. She's a very kind and social person who helped us with a lot of things and gave us tips, even drove us to the port or shops. She cooked delicious dinner and made breakfast for us. The rooms are very comfy and the house has everything needed for a perfect stay, including snorkeling equipment that can be rented. Definitely would come back!
