Poor location. Bed bugs. Not tourist friendly environment. The host is very rude and aggressive. I cannot believe that this kind of service could survive in Japan. Not recommended. There are a lot of guest house better than this place.

STOP! BED BUGS, both my wife and I have bites all over us. Kato is a terrible person, he was really rude and aggressive to his guest. Before I could give negative reviews, Kato lied to site and said we were a no show, he is a liar, now I understand why he has good reviews.

Absolutely amazing place!! The most hospitable place in Japan and the decorations and aesthetic is wonderful. Kato is great also. Very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. Definitely recommend it.

I cried, worse experience of my life staying at hostel Omori Souko. I woke up with BITES and RASHES. Others in the room also the same. I politely asked to change rooms, then Kato screamed at me and kicked me out and kept my belongings. Tokyo is amazing but this ruined my experience

-Hostel is very clean. -A bit small but it’s will keep you warm from friendly friend around the world. -owner very helpful and good at English. -You have to try free sake in the kitchen. -I met lovely japanese and westerner friends in the kitchen where we shared small table and wine. -If you want to try unique decoration and warm atmosphere hostel you should try here.

So many rules. e.g. The light in the room must stay on till 11pm. Then when it is "switched off" it is actually just dimmed, no early bag drop off. Bathroom was clean enough. Owner spoke descent enough English. Quite a long way from town but it is close to Haneda airport.
