Very chill, rustic cafe right in front of the station where you can get a nice bite to eat and relax for a bit. They have typical cafe foods like sandwiches and coffees, teas. If the weather is nice you can sit outside and if it’s clear you can see Mt. Fuji right there.

Super clean shower rooms, toilets, and kitchen. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, handsoap, hairdryer, bath towel. Please don’t forget to bring your own tooth brush and tooth paste. But my room little bit dusty (room number 1), very thin and old mattress. Shaky old bunk bed. And sofa bed with little hole,stuffing foam came out from that little hole :’( Friendly staff and cleaner. We arrived arround 10 pm and agoda failed to send me self check-in message, but thankfully 2 people near check in office help me to call the staff. And the male staff came to assist us. The property is about 5-8 minutes walk from check in office at the main road.

We stumbled upon this place after searching for ice coffee. It was a great find, they have bike (regular and electric) for reasonable prices and we could store our luggage for free when we rented the bikes. Kawaguchiko is a beautiful place to explore via bike ride. The service at Samurise was amazing.

Great location and very helpful and friendly people. The common area was great for socializing and the kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Showers were easy and bunks were comfy enough. Private rooms looked awesome from the outside. Would definitely go back again!

At first sight it looks much worse than it is, the staff here are wonderful and the facilities, despite being basic are very clean and more than adequate. Beds are comfortable and location is perfect for access to Kawaguchiko station and only 15 minutes to the lake. I'd stay here again next time I'm in town.

We rented their bikes and a tube fell off and got wrapped around the wheel. The second bike the pedal and chain both fell off. They brought us new bikes but we had to wait an hour each time. We asked for a refund and they only agreed to refund 1/3 of the price after my insistence.
