Onsen meets hostel. Inexpensive with attentive staff and a relaxing bath.

A hostel with a very attractive decor and warm hosts. A well equipped common area with board games, video games, cubes, and lots of information notices and maps and what not. There is a restaurant accessible from inside the hostel itself. They have good WiFi. A well maintained small warm Onsen. The dorms were well maintained, and the sleeping cubicles were equipped with power sockets as well. The morning views from just outside the hostel can be soectacular- don't miss it. The only pitfall I see is the location- not quite easily or cheaply accessible for those not on a private vehicle. It's about 5km from the Matsumoto station and similarly from the castle. But, they do have a bus stop nearby and the timing chart of all the busses which can take you to all the places you need. The services are limited though, so anybody reaching the railway station after 7pm might have to shell out on a taxi or walk the distance
Great place to stay with family. The design is very cute and recently renovated. The kids loved staying there. Especially playing the SNES in the lobby and playing Othello with the proprietor.

In an old spa village, this place is trying to do something new in order to revive it. It's basically a hostel with spa bath.
Cosy little place with a nice room, relaxing onsen, and great hospitality.
Bathrobes and towls in the closet. Hotspring (in the form of a big bath) in the basement. An amazing restaurant attatched to it. Great staff.. All in all had an amazing experience.
二度目の利用、ドミトリールームに6人（妻、子供2人、義母、姪、私）、営業再開初日で貸し切りでした（コロナでしばらく休業されていたとのことです）。 6人部屋のベッドはユニークで、ファミコンもあり、子どもたちはテンション超盛り上がり。かけ流しの温泉は癖がなくゆっくり入れる適温でよかったです。落ち着いた雰囲気がとても良く、私はこういう宿は大好きです。 スタッフの方も親切で、いい時間を過ごさせていただきました。また利用させていただきたいです。
