Great service and very helpful and honest company and staff to deal with. Prompt email and professional handling all in English. No issue at all and would like to deal again sometime. Many thanks especially to Kei. Highly recommended and top notch !

I am several times a year in Japan for business and bought several watches from this store in the past for myself or as a present. Because of my travels I visited Housekihiroba 15 times in the past. Seeing the bad reviews below surprise me, because I was always treated with the utmost respect, as expected from a Japanese company that sells luxury goods. Even when I did not buy a watch. Every employee, Japanese or foreign, had a vast knowledge of watches and helped me choose and they also recommended watches that had a lower price-tag than the ones I was asking for. They care for you to get the watch that fits you best, not to make quick profit, which is why I keep coming back. When I consider spending this much money on a watch, I like to take my time to see all options. I was never rushed nor pressed to make my decision and the staff explained every of my questions in a calm and professional way. The customers of this shop never struck me as Chinese only, but as a healthy mix between Japanese and foreign customers. I never saw any bad treatment of another customer and the spoken and understood English was always good to excellent. Everyone gets the same top treatment from this amazing staff.

I am from Macau visiting Tokyo. I was looking for a watch for my son’s graduation. The staff member was very patient and showed me many models to choose from. Then another salesperson came who was an expert in rare and collectible pieces. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and helped chose the right watch for my son. Enormous choice of watches . Many brands and models. They gave me a special deal and I recommend this store to any overseas visitor without any hesitation.

Their service can be low depending on which employee assists you. I’ve had a good experience with some of the Japanese staff here (also very knowledgeable on the watches they helped me view), but the most recent non-Japanese woman that assisted was unprofessional and seemed quite annoyed/irritated from the start. She gave the impression that I was not serious about considering the watches I asked to see (although at the time, I had a watch on that was more expensive than the watches I was viewing. I assume she doesn’t know the difference between watch brands like AP and Rolex as well). Looking at a few of the below reviews, I assume I ran into the same employee or service experience as the previous reviewers. I used to visit this shop every other time I was in Shibuya, but will no longer visit due to their change in customer service. Not sure if this has always been present, and I was lucky to be assisted by their good employees previously, or if this is a recent issue of theirs. In any case, the prices are marked up about 2-4K higher compared to other shops in Japan (both for used and new models)....I would recommend visiting other stores instead.

Terrible customer service from their non-Japanese employees. Absolutely zero rapport, thank you, or information provided from their foreign employees. This shop is geared towards reselling watches to Chinese tourists at a premium price (those looking to resell them in China for an even higher price) — I guess if you are not Chinese, they assume you are not serious about buying from them. Was shocked to see how little service is provided, even when speaking with them in Japanese. Would recommend other shops such as NJ time or Jack Roads in Nakano. Even chain pawn shops such as Daikokuya offer better service
