Really good
We went right at the end of spring (May), I was quite concerned about the coldness of the water, but I shouldn't have been worried as while the water is indeed cold, the provided swim suits and shoes kept me warm. We did canyoning in the morning and white water rafting in the afternoon. It was my first time doing both. There are plenty of online videos as to what to expect. It's lots of excitement and adventure as well as some physical work, though it's not too tough as even a 6 year old was said to have done it. Grassy (the owner who is Australian who has lived in Japan for a long time) is really keen on adventure and giving his customers a good.(and safe) time. The guides speak some English too, which was welcome as I do not speak Japanese. We were super lucky as it's the start of the season so in the canyoning and the white water rafting we got Grassy and pretty much all the guides as well as the beautiful settings to ourselves! Tomo cooked us yummy burgers for lunch and cans of soft drinks were also provided. Iloveoutdoorsjapan is right near the train station so you can catch a train from Tokyo. Lastly I chose them because I wanted a local's experience, and not feel like I'm in Australia with other western tourists. I'm glad I did because everything from their website to their HQ, screams \Japan\... And that's a really good thing :)
