Whether you want a stay in a secluded cabin for the weekend or to enjoy outdoor sports ranging from cycling to snowshoeing, Mori-no-ie is a great place to visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cabins are incredibly spacious and well maintained.

So much incredible fun! We got to try out snow shoeing and visit a local village - for those wanting an authentic cultural and ecological experience you cannot go past this place! There are options to stay at their cabins and engage in local arts and crafts. The guides are so lovely and knowledgeable in regards to the local history and landscapes. I wish that I had time to go for a full day snow shoe hike.
Very nice accomidation. Staff very friendly. Food quite nice. Beware of the weird rules in the cabin. English was ok, but if they didnt understand would just say no. No Onsen.
Lovely place to stay, cabins very nice, mezanine floor upstairs for futons, downstairs twin western beds with sofa bed too. Good kitchen facilities and basic cafe on site.
Stayed for two nights last week. Clean and comfortable cabins with enough cooking facilities to make a meal from items purchased in town. Lovely mezzanine level with tatami matting and windows overlooking the forest - great space for meditation. Forest area with walking paths including a couple of spaces with hammocks in amongst the beech trees - you can get a small hand drawn map from reception. Short drive to the Iiyama Yutaki Onsen which has both indoor and outdoor.
Inside is warm and wooden house was really nice. Also staff was very kind and friendly.

多分日本で一番清掃の行き届いている、コテージ宿泊施設。 コテージは元より、センターハウスのトイレやカフェスペースなども、徹底的に清掃されており、来客者を歓迎している。 かんじきおやき体験などの楽しいアウトドアアクティビティが楽しめる他、信越トレイルの窓口にもなっていて、コテージで宿泊しなくても、大広間などのスペースをイベントで利用することも出来る。 英会話やアウトドアスキルに長けたスタッフが常駐しているので、北信州でアウトドア体験をしたいのなら、まずは飯山市、なべくら高原森の家に訪れるべきだろう。 あと、湯滝温泉と、花の駅千曲川と高橋まゆみ人形館をおさえとかないと、飯山市に来た価値はない。飯山駅構内にある観光交流センターもまた素晴らしいので、情報を集めて、飯山市を100%楽しもう あと、すげー良い店があるんだけど、それはここでは教えません！
