My wife is a permanent resident of Japan and has been for 30 years.I am an American citizen who is a permanent resident of Japan and I live here.try Tried to become a member at lo credit union and was denied because they said they only accept Japanese citizens to become members. This is absolute discrimination. Discrimination is accepted in Japan Japan. The bank manager I spoke with was very polite and kind.
