While wandering around Nagoya I noticed this Irish pub and just had to go in and see what an Irish pub was like here in Japan. I actually felt quite at home here. They had a great selection of whiskey, and even a few import and local craft beers. I had a proper pint of a delicious craft beer from a brewery in Tokyo and was surprised at how flavorful it was. Drinks were a little expensive, but that is to be expected here for good beer as the craft beer scene is still just starting to grow in Japan. I believe I paid 980 yen for the pint and felt it was worthwhile for the quality. It was so much better than the standard domestic beer. The food was a bit different than you would find in an Irish pub back home, but still looked quite good. If you feel like getting a good beer or sampling from a nice selection of whiskeys, stop by here. The happy hour specials make drinks much more affordable and draws in a very good crowd. Happy drinking!
