No wheelchair-accessible entrance
I visited Kamakita lake a couple of days ago to enjoy the autumn foliage. Unfortunately there was no water in the lake. Construction work is underway at the lake's bed and is expected to continue up to March 2021. I am looking forward to visiting in the springtime to enjoy the lake with water and the blooming Sakura trees surrounding the lake.

紅葉が綺麗でした
2/1来訪。 工事のために水が抜かれていて、これはこれで貴重な風景。 管理棟横にある排水の大穴や湖底まで見渡せる。 ホントにここまで抜いちゃったの？ と、言うくらいカラカラになってる。
299号(武蔵横手)と県道30号(毛呂)を短絡する県道186号で毛呂方面から3km強の沿道に所在。 カーブや木々が茂っているためアクセスの割に眺望は良くないがヘラ鮒釣りスポットでもある。現在はアース式の堤体の改修工事中(2021年3月上旬)で湖水は抜かれており貸しボートや左岸側の堤体脇の食堂も閉鎖(季節？)。 本来の湖底を工事車両が往来し職人さんと重機で土砂をならしてから個々に石を置いていく風景は逆に貴重で、右岸へ渡り少し先の️に車を停めて戻り、時間を忘れて暫く観察できた。
