Niseko in a state of emergency in March 2020 because of COVID, flights from Bangkok cancelled, (Thai Airways did refund), but JSE / hotel refused to postpone our trip or offer any refund, either full or partial, we ended up paying the whole amount for the hotel rooms, (14 persons in total), we were just told by JSE that the resort was operating normally, even though a state of emergency had just been made. Beware of this company, as we all lost a lot of money.

Every year we use Japan Ski Experience. Brilliant communication, great accommodation and their on the ground staff in Japan are 10/10. As a result of this, our friends & family also use JSE. Thanks again and see you next ski season!
Communication was spotty. Sometimes prompt other times delayed 3-4 days. Their services really were not needed. Everything is so easy to book in Niseko before or after arrival. Because I booked through JSE I didn't get points for a stay at the Hyatt House. Also, booked a guide a couple of weeks before arrival conditional on being able to go back country (you don't need a guide on the resort). The back country wasn't open, but they sent a guide anyway and kept the fee. On complaining, JSE returned half the fee. The guide did nothing but ski with us that day for a healthy fee.
