This is a nice michi no eki in Niigata. It is by the seaside and you can purchase a lot of Niigata's omiyage. There is a swimming area that is kiddy pool depth. I saw adults and children play here. There is also a hotel and many parking spaces available. There are some people to control traffic. However, when it is busy, parking will be hard to find. I went around 14:00 on Sunday and the parking lot was super busy. I tried goat milk ice cream at one of the food tucks outside. It was worth 400. It has an interesting texture and has a slightly strong aroma of goat milk but I became used to it afterwards.

The outside pool use the sea water but not so wide. Here is safe and clean for toddler.

ここから見る夕日は最高にキレイだと思います。 海沿いなので風が強かった。 風車は回っていない。 金華サバの開きが2枚で500円, 塩辛も500円で購入。 新潟の日本酒も豊富で辛口のを一本購入。 魚は冷凍物だかストックできるし、安くて品物も良さそうだ。 鮮魚もあり。 野菜も品数少ないが新鮮そう。 お食事処はもひとつ食欲そそるものがなかった。 EV充電器もあり。

宿泊施設のある道の駅でした。訪れるまで知らなかったです。広い芝生のスペースが広がり、その先には穏やかな日本海が。少し散策しましたが、何か、ほっとしますね。鮮魚コーナーもコンパクトでしたが、十分で、魚介類も安い。持ち運びできないので、あきらめましたがタコ美味しそうだったなぁ。ホテル、旅館などもいいけれど、こういった施設を上手く利用するのもいいですね。
