We had a great time watching. The show is in Japanese but it's pretty easy to understand what is happening even if you do not understand the language. Seating is limited and varies from floor pillows to benches so prepare for that. Drink ticket included in the price and they have merch for sale as well.

A fantastic place to watch a fun version of a traditional art form. It kind of feels like pantomime from the UK. The actors are magnificent! Every production we have seen is different but excellent. A fantastic way to spend an afternoon/ evening. It’s not the easiest to reserve tickets if you don’t speak Japanese- maybe go to the cafe and ask. It is completely in Japanese but you get an idea of what is going on from the action and costumes. If the cast could put a summary of the plot together in English- that would be incredible!

Fun show, tatami mat floor with one bench in the back, short stools and then mats, 1.5 hour long. Very entertaining. No pictures during main performance.

Even with my limited Japanese skills I enjoyed the experience. They have a very small amount of English support (telling you rules etc), but mostly you'll just have to guess and/or watch the regulars. It was something different though and I would do it again.

Very fun. Very Japanese, and more. Entertaining and energetic, with kabuki style theatre house and drama, mythical battles, anime, comedy, tragedy, giant serpent/dragon, Final Fantasy, light show, original music/sound, Mexican wrester. What? Yes!! See it!
