Many things to do here.. Not Just an Aquarium , outdoor activities and food stalls cafes .. Nice place to visit

A wonderful gem. The indoor tanks are well organizer and there was enough information in English for us to follow what was being presented. They have an Impressive collection of freshwater fish from Japan and around the world. A few mammals as well. There are enough food stalls and alternative attractions outside to keep you fed and entertained after touring the indoor Aquarium. Parking is extensive but you may have to walk a short distance.

A very decent aquarium that offers a lot to see. I've been overworking lately and went there to relax but it was interesting and educational enough for me to end up actively seeing all the fish and insects. So I didn't get to rest my mind to be honest but it turned out a good diversion. I totally didn't know Nagara river is the home to so many creatures! 1 hour and 40 minutes was not enough to walk and see through the entire facility. Give yourself at least 2 hours.
