It was beautiful! Very good price, only 500 for adults. The rose garden is gorgeous and there's a gorgeous view of the ocean from inside the museum. Only complaint as an English speaker is that none of the inside museum exhibits had English translations, and you can't use your camera (so I didn't use Google translate). Super cool to see tho!

A visit to this museum is well worth your while if you’re interested in the beauty of the estate itself or if you have even a casual interest in Japan’s great literature, especially that of the late Meiji period, moving forward through the end of the Showa period. Many of Japan’s greatest writers have housed both here and in the surrounding area, even as two former prime ministers have made this their summer home. A lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon!
Can touch (literally) the heart of many famous writer in Jpn. The atmosphere around this building is also awesome!!!
I’m sure it is very interesting but there was no info in English, only Japanese! What a shame. Nice view of the city from the property though.
