I was so hungry for dumplings for a long time. When I was walking in Ueno station, I accidentally found this Chinese dumpling restaurant. When you enter the place, you feel like you are in China. The atmosphere is really good. I ate a set of of dumplings with 6 kinds of dumplings included, some meat and vegetables. The taste were good. You can order a whole set dumpling menu if you are really hungry. There are many tables in the restaurant, also separated ones for private use. The price is high but you can get what you deserve.

I enjoyed this place. Came here for lunch and got a crunchy Chinese seafood noodle set which filled me up. This place is clean, quiet and the staff was great. Would come here again.

Living in Japan, it is easy to be confident about going to any random restaurant and expecting it to be good, Kamonka was a rare exception. I have had better dimsum from a 7-11. The main chicken dish was so drowning in oil that the waitress grimaced when serving it. It is really challenging to make bad Chinese food, but Kamonka has mastered the art. Worst Chinese food I have eaten in Asia. Truly bad food.

Impressive entrance, decent food (especially the soup gyōza, very nice!), truly awful anin dofu. I don't know what they did to it, but it tasted like soap. The lunch sets are reasonably priced, the dim sum is very nice. Just avoid dessert at all costs.
