This place is magnificent. There's so much to see, we spent 3 hours and we could have spent 5 or 6 easily. This doesn't include the garden. You can learn so much from the self guided tours you can take through many of the main buildings. There are many brief but informative plaques with information on them located at the various places. If you're disabled you can still see pretty much everything, they have wheelchair facilities. I would definitely recommend going here. An easy 5 out of 5.

There is no much to say there are many things TO SEE throughout the year this historic building will delight your trip with it's a stunning beauty and rich story There are free of charge short guided tours in English performed by some well educated polite Japanese people. Don't miss the cafeteria on the middle of the castle with a ravishing view of the whole complex Yes, the price us a but biting...but for the occasion you should have sip of their traditional teas and taste a special flavour ice cream with REAL GOLD FLAKE ON IT
