Amazing traditional japanese cuisine!! Great staff that speaks the correct level of english for, in our case, help us to choose the \gluten free\ dishes, as we had an allergic person in the group. The food is much much better than any restaurant in tokyo or in kanazawa we were before, and we are staying already for 1 month. The fish is so so fresh that is melting like butter when we ate it Favourite dishes: the riceteasalmon and the the bowl of sashimi (we took the bowl.for.2) Also the.prices are inbeatible with the quality ther serve.

Really glad to have stumbled into this Izakaya. We were seated on the second floor; it was nice that almost everyone else were locals. There is an English menu, but staff spoke little English so it was a bit challenging to figure out what were the specials of the day - not a big deal if you just go with Osusume. The food (especially the grilled fish - crisp skin with moist meat) and service were both excellent. They also have a fairly extensive Sake menu!

Great fresh fish, excellent sake. Arrive early for a seat at this popular izakaya!

I'm really glad I gave this place a shot at random. Great atmosphere here. Staff speaks little English but there's a very clear English menu complete with illustrations. The food had such flavour and was beautifully presented. Even the shochu I ordered was delicious. If I come to Kanazawa again I think it's likely I'd come here at least one more time.
