Great selection of beans from around the world. You can choose the roast level and grind setting and they will do it on the spot using a convection bed roaster. Bonus, they sell a lot of coffee related gear as well. It’s hard to find freshly roasted beans at a reasonable price, so I can highly recommend this place.

Roaster, but the take away coffee is a dream. We just walked in by chance and got a cafe mocha - honestly, best one we ever had !!

It's certainly an interesting concept: They roast the coffee on the spot for you, with a special oven that throws the beans around while roasting. The service is awesome - they talk you through your options and your tastes and even give you free coffee while you wait for your roast. Prices are reasonable. The resulting roast is, however, only as good as you can expect with this this method. If I compare this with the methods used by my favorite roasters at home, then it's just clear that there is much less precision and overall effort involved, because they sell too many different beans and the instant roasting doesn't allow for any experimentation or fine-tuning. The flavour approaches what you might have in mind, but it doesn't quite live up to a proper roast that has been done at the optimal speed and temperature and sitting in the open air for a while to develop nicely.
