Providing inaccurate information is my main dissatisfaction. I visited the Information Centre in the afternoon of Sept 9th, 2018 and a male staffer was not very helpful when I asked about the bus day-pass. What's worse, when I asked him which bus stop to get off for climbing Karakuni-dake (韓国岳), he told me it should be Ebino-kogen but in fact, when I went this morning, Ebino-kogen information centre staffer told me the trail entrance for Karakuni-dake was closed and I should walk back to Onami Lake trail entrance to access the mountain (and actually I have learnt about the Lake's trail entrance before but chosen to believe in the staffer's information).The correct trail entrance info is very crucial but because of the Hot Spring Info Centre's wrong & out-dated information, I needed to walk 1.5 hrs back to Onami Lake trail entrance (as bus is very infrequent, 2 hrs interval), actually the energy and the total time of 1.5 hours should be more well spent on hiking to Onami Lake & Karakuni-dake. Please understand time is very crucial in hiking and the staffer should have checked & provided the latest update to hikers especially as the trail entrance to Karakuni-dake from Ebino-kogen was already closed since June.

温泉の蒸気で蒸した、たまごや、とうもろこし、ウインナーなどがとても美味しいので、行くたび食べます。

道沿いに有るのですが道沿いより低いので見栄えがしないので通り過ぎてしまうかも知れません。近くに宿泊したので行って見たら足湯は有るし食事も出来るしお土産も買えるのでもっと賑わっても良いと思いますが‥。

スタンプラリーついでに霧島に来たが、案内所としては狭いし、来客対応は悪いし、観光案内する気がないしで、良いところなしでした。観光地としては有名ですが、案内所のせいで白けました。代わりにペッパーくんを雇用すべきだと思います。

スタンプラリーをやっていた年のことを訪ねたら、そんなイベントは、やっていなかったと一方的に突っぱねられ、こちらの話を聞こうとしなかった。 実際にそのスタンプラリーをしていた年に紅茶や湯のみを貰ったりした。 気分を害したので2度と行こうと思わない。
